I am a final year student studying software engineering at The University of Canterbury, currently pursuing my goal of creating products that make an impact and help people in their daily lives.
Throughout my engineering journey I have found pride in producing high quality work both in the product itself aswell as the processes that led to the products completion. Throughout my studies, this approach to work has crept to the forefront of my own personal process to the point that it is now a key factor. It has driven the work I have done both in and out of programming. From developing apps, websites, and embedded systems, to working in teams, creating designs, and communicating ideas.
On top of my university studies, during early 2026 I found myself, alongside some classmates, building Obli., a system with the aim to help automate workflows and RFIs in the construction industry. Through this endeavour, I was able to begin building firsthand experience for product development, beginning with client communication to identify possible issues, requirements, and solutions, through to developing a system to solve them.
Outside of producing software, I find myself racing in both cycling and short-course triathlon with the hope to one day race at an elite level.
